FPGA Verification Engineer (Entry Level)

Location: East Hartford, Connecticut, USA; onsite or hybrid. Travel may be required for up to two weeks per year.

What you will do

• Perform verification activities for embedded FPGA aerospace and defense systems, including artifact reviews, test-case and test-procedure development, and results analysis.
• Develop and execute verification strategies aligned with verification lifecycles and DO-254 objectives.
• Work across simulation, integration, target-hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop environments.
• Maintain hardware-design requirements and accurate traceability.
• Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings while communicating technical status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams and support verification schedules and quality objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering, science, or technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Python or equivalent scripting languages.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; dual citizenship must be disclosed.
