Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Addiction Treatment)

Salary: $125,000–$135,200 annually

What you will do

• Provide medical services under physician supervision, including patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans according to clinical protocols.
• Monitor therapeutic interventions and patient progress.
• Counsel and educate patients on the medical aspects of treatment.
• Coordinate care with healthcare providers, make referrals, and participate in treatment-team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with medical quality standards and regulations while supporting the nursing team.

Requirements

• Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of employment.
• Current DEA license with renewal documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Proficiency in basic computing and data entry.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.
• Availability for an on-site schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays and on-call duties.

• Experience with or understanding of chemical addiction.
