Director, Fulfillment Network Optimization (Food Tech)

Location: United States; remote-hybrid work from the Boston office, home, or a mixture of both. Travel up to 5 days per quarter may be required for team gatherings and events.

Salary: $195,000–$274,000 annual total target cash compensation, including base salary and bonus target.

What you will do

• Own the lifecycle and performance of dispatch and self-delivery service provider partnerships.
• Balance network capacity and demand, close coverage gaps, and negotiate commercial agreements with regional and national delivery organizations.
• Lead specialized delivery programs for meal programs, concierge services, corporate accounts, and channel partners.
• Improve fulfillment intelligence by evaluating operational data, developing monitoring frameworks, testing hypotheses, and integrating new data sources.
• Set delivery strategy, define partner success criteria, and optimize the delivery experience and unit economics.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Operations, Product & Engineering, Customer Service, and Growth teams while developing the delivery organization.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in delivery, logistics, or fulfillment operations.
• Expertise managing complex partner networks, with strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Proven data analytics experience and the ability to translate findings into strategic action.
• Experience innovating operational processes with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalable systems.
• Ability to lead complex projects, influence senior stakeholders, and work effectively with Product & Engineering teams on platforms, integrations, and workflows.
• Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings, and other events when applicable.
