Manager, Developer Relations (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $161,000–$201,000 USD per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the Developer Relations Engineering team, roadmap, technical programs, and prioritization.
• Manage, coach, and develop technical contributors while maintaining meaningful technical ownership.
• Build integrations, example applications, open-source projects, demos, workshops, reference architectures, tutorials, and developer tooling.
• Contribute hands-on by prototyping, writing and reviewing code, debugging integrations, and creating technical demonstrations.
• Represent hirify.global through presentations, videos, workshops, integrations, and developer community engagement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Growth, Content, Sales, and Customer Success to improve adoption and feed developer insight into product strategy.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years managing, coaching, or leading technical contributors or a similar function.
• Strong software engineering foundation, including production-quality code, APIs, developer tooling, debugging, and unfamiliar technologies.
• Experience delivering developer-facing technical projects from idea through launch and iteration.
• Strong program management, product judgment, communication, collaboration, and roadmap-planning skills.
• Experience with public codebases, GitHub workflows, developer ecosystems, DevRel metrics, and product or business outcomes; experience using hirify.global is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure, networking, security, open-source, WireGuard, identity-based access, or Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience with product-led growth, self-serve adoption, developer workshops, technical videos, or conference speaking.
• Experience measuring developer journeys from engagement through signup, activation, and paid conversion.
• Experience managing agency partners, contractors, budgets, or external contributors.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
