Engineering Manager (Digital Trust) (Fraud Prevention/Security): Leading the development of scalable digital trust solutions that use device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, cyber threat intelligence, and network analytics to detect and prevent digital fraud with an accent on technical leadership, security, and high-scale distributed systems. Focus on guiding architecture and execution, improving performance and scalability, and developing an engineering team in collaboration with Product, Data Science, and Security.
Location: Portugal; remote work is indicated.

What you will do
- Manage and develop a team of engineers working on Digital Trust products.
- Guide architecture, technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects focused on fraud detection and prevention.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Security, and other stakeholders.
- Champion DevOps, security, scalability, and performance across digital trust solutions.
- Partner with recruiting to attract and hire engineering talent.
Requirements
- 3+ years of team leadership or management experience in technical teams.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, plus modern software architecture.
- Experience with high-scale distributed systems in a SaaS environment.
- Ability to balance technical innovation with business impact and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent English skills required; Spanish is a plus.

- Experience with network security, behavioral analytics, or device intelligence.
- Background in security, fraud prevention, cyber threat intelligence, or related fields.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
