Vice President, IT and Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - US; not hiring in California or the New York metro area

Salary: $250,000–$270,000 USD base pay, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Security and IT organization across CorpSec, ProdSec, GRC, and IT.
• Own incident response from detection and triage through recovery and post-incident review.
• Build and tune detections across endpoint, identity, cloud, and SaaS telemetry.
• Own product security, vulnerability management, and security integration into the development lifecycle.
• Set the strategy for endpoints, identity, SaaS, MDM, patch compliance, hardware lifecycle, and zero-touch provisioning across macOS and Windows.
• Maintain SOC 2 operations, risk management, vendor reviews, budgets, KPIs, and executive security reporting.

Requirements

• 12+ years in security engineering or security operations, including recent hands-on detection engineering and incident response.
• 8+ years managing people, including hiring, performance management, and technical talent development.
• Experience with product security, direct IT operations, strategy execution, and measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of SIEM or log pipeline design, adversary tradecraft, application and cloud security, identity providers, cloud IAM, MDM, and SaaS administration.
• Working Linux experience and familiarity with PowerShell, bash, and Python.
• Must be able to pass federal, state, and county background checks and complete a local in-person verification.
