TL;DR
Machinist (Manufacturing): Operating machine tools to produce precision tooling, fixtures, and consumable parts from metals, plastics, and other materials with an accent on blueprint interpretation, close-tolerance work, and equipment operation. Focus on building special tooling, performing CNC and conventional machining, documenting finished products, and adjusting or repairing equipment.
Location: Onsite in Columbus, Nebraska, United States. 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; overtime may be required.

What you will do
- Operate and tend lathes, drill presses, milling machines, surface grinders, CNC equipment, punch presses, and related machinery.
- Build precision tooling, fixtures, and consumable parts from steel, aluminum, plastics, and other non-metals.
- Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, working drawings, sketches, and bills of materials to meet specified tolerances.
- Document finished products and prepare them for timely delivery to customers.
- Collaborate with designers and project engineers and adjust or repair equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Technical degree or certification, or a high school diploma with prior machinist experience.
- Prior production experience.
- Ability to read, write, perform arithmetic calculations, and accurately interpret specifications and blueprints.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR/EAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee status, or asylee status.
