What you will do

• Present clear, engaging news stories and other content across broadcast and digital platforms.
• Write, research, copy edit, produce, and coordinate newscasts and news programming.
• Report from the field, conduct interviews, and respond to breaking news and urgent newsroom situations.
• Write website and eMedia content, edit video clips, and interact with viewers on social media.
• Provide direction, coaching, and motivation to newsroom contributors.
• Participate in promotional activities, public appearances, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least five years of experience in news reporting or anchoring.
• Fluent English and excellent written, verbal, and on-air communication skills.
• Strong news judgment and broad knowledge of local and national current events, history, newsmakers, and issues.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize assignments, handle multiple tasks, and work any shift.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; proficiency with standard office equipment and computers.
