TL;DR
Trade Compliance Supervisor (Import/Export Compliance): Maintaining and developing a trade compliance management program for packaging operations with an accent on import/export controls, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance. Focus on assigning HTS and ECCN codes, supporting C-TPAT and ITAR processes, coordinating freight documentation, and mentoring import/export analysts and coordinators.

What you will do
- Maintain, develop, and execute the Trade Compliance Management Program.
- Provide subject matter expertise on import and export compliance, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Develop standard work documentation, compliance training, KPIs, and corrective actions for audits.
- Support HTS and ECCN classification, C-TPAT certification, ITAR documentation, certificates of origin, and duty drawback processing.
- Review freight bills, coordinate with freight forwarders, and support global supply chain and logistics initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects and mentor and develop Import/Export Analysts and Export Coordinators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a trade compliance-related field.
- Experience with import and export control laws, customs procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to manage projects, perform analysis, develop solutions, and provide training.
Nice to have
- Licensed customs broker credential.
