EHS Specialist - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at Plant 7 Production Office in Pella, Iowa, USA. Second shift. No travel is expected.

What you will do

• Investigate moderately complex incidents and injuries to identify root causes and create appropriate countermeasures.
• Conduct EHS audits to monitor compliance.
• Support operational team members in developing and implementing corrective action plans.
• Educate team members on risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with key stakeholders on basic process improvements and enhanced standard work practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, apply a risk-based approach, and positively influence others.
• Ability to perform frequent walking and continuous standing, with occasional climbing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to work onsite at the Pella, Iowa, USA campus during the second shift.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with EHS software solutions.
