Maintenance Technician III - 1st Shift, 6 AM - 2:30 PM (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: 902 Feehanville Dr, Mt Prospect, Illinois, USA; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair industrial machinery, including 3-phase electrical controls, PLC systems, DC drives, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
• Execute planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance schedules, equipment calibrations, and circuit and wiring inspections.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machinery, reduce downtime, and eliminate safety risks.
• Order replacement parts and maintain accurate repair and maintenance logs.
• Follow OSHA standards and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of multi-craft electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance experience, or a trade school certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with 3-phase power, PLC systems, relay logic, motor controls, electrical conduit installation, and testing devices such as ammeters, meggers, and gauges.
• Mechanical and facility maintenance skills including tool repair, pneumatics, basic plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and plant utility systems.
• Ability to read schematics, prints, and technical drawings, with strong diagnostic, mechanical, computer, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work short-notice overtime as production requires.
• Final candidates must complete a post-offer background check and drug screening.
