Maintenance Technician III - 1st Shift, 6 AM - 2:30 PM

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair industrial machinery, including 3-phase electrical controls, PLC systems, DC drives, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
• Perform planned, predictive, and emergency breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules, equipment calibrations, and circuit and wiring inspections.
• Work with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and eliminate safety risks.
• Order replacement parts, maintain repair documentation, and follow OSHA standards and shop safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience, or a trade school certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of 3-phase power, PLC systems, relay logic, motor controls, electrical conduit installation, and testing devices such as ammeters and meggers.
• Mechanical and facility maintenance skills, including tool repair, pneumatics, basic plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and general facility maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical and electrical system documentation.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work short-notice overtime when production requires.
• Strong diagnostic ability, mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, communication skills, and willingness to cross-train.
