CNC Programmer (CNC Machining)

Location: Selma, Texas, United States. Onsite manufacturing role. U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

What you will do

• Create, edit, test, and maintain CNC machining programs and setup documentation for customer-specific parts.
• Develop machining process routings and estimate machining times from part drawings and RFQs.
• Work with machinists to troubleshoot machines, adjust controls and tool settings, and maintain specified tolerances.
• Design custom fixtures and tooling and coordinate with tooling suppliers.
• Maintain an accurate, revision-controlled CNC program database in line with ISO standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, quality, and manufacturing performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of CNC lathe and mill experience; multi-axis lathe and 5-axis mill experience is preferred.
• Intermediate CAD and CAM knowledge or previous CNC programming experience.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls and G-code is desired.
• High proficiency in technical print reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship, U.S. nationality, lawful permanent residence, or qualifying refugee or asylum status.

Nice to have

• CNC machining or programming certifications.
• Multi-axis lathe and 5-axis mill experience.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi-based controls and G-code.
