Executive Escalations Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York City, NY; or Seattle, WA. Hybrid work is expected, with staff required to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $210,000–$260,000 USD

What you will do

• Build playbooks, escalation criteria, tooling solutions, and standard operating procedures for executive escalations.
• Own high-stakes escalations end-to-end during coverage hours, including investigation, incident management, and resolution.
• Brief executives, coordinate with Communications partners, and keep incident channels accurate and useful.
• Write post-escalation reports documenting incidents, responses, and recommended improvements.
• Lead a recurring insights forum, identify patterns, and drive product and policy changes with partner teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in escalation management, trust and safety operations, customer support, or related frontline operations.
• Hands-on experience running incidents or escalations, coordinating cross-functional partners, and writing executive communications.
• Excellent written communication, judgment under pressure, and real-time coordination skills.
• Ability to influence partners without positional authority and identify second-order issues.
• Comfort working in an ambiguous, newly established function with a bias toward action.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
