Indirect Buyer (CAPEX)

Location: Loveland, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Loveland facility.

hirify.global develops and manufactures jet propulsion systems for unmanned aerial defense using additive manufacturing and advanced production technologies.

What you will do

• Source and procure CAPEX equipment, tooling, automation systems, facilities services, IT, and other indirect materials and services.
• Manage RFQs and RFPs, supplier selection, bid analysis, negotiations, contract execution, and purchasing documentation.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, service agreements, and long-term supply arrangements.
• Build supplier relationships and monitor quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
• Support facility expansions, production-line improvements, equipment upgrades, cost reduction, and supply-chain risk mitigation.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP/MRP systems and support audits related to AS9100, ISO standards, and government-contracting compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience sourcing CAPEX equipment and managing indirect spend categories.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, supplier-management, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, procurement analytics, statements of work, and equipment specifications.
• U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, precision machining, additive manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, long-term supply agreements, and logistics.
