Location: Toronto office with a flexible hybrid schedule; current work authorization for Canada is required

Salary: CAD 23.00–27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Learn about market trends and their impact on the mutual fund industry.
• Prepare monthly management reports by compiling financial and operational data.
• Analyze sales, operations, and financial data to identify variances and trends.
• Support the development and testing of finance reporting tools.
• Conduct research on the mutual fund industry, competitive landscape, and key trends.
• Collaborate with teams across Fidelity and support finance organizational goals and ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a university degree in finance, commerce, business, or economics.
• Working knowledge of financial terms and ratios, with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage projects, multiple priorities, and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Availability to work full time for the duration of the 8-month co-op term.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel skills, including macros or VBA coding.
• Experience with Microsoft Access.
