Senior Python Engineer (AI/Automation)

What you will do

• Develop automation solutions across the full lifecycle, from intake and development through testing, deployment, debugging, and documentation.
• Run and maintain more than 500 automation processes to ensure accurate and consistent operations.
• Build Python-based and Agentic AI tools for data integration, report generation, system reconciliation, and repetitive enterprise tasks.
• Research new Python libraries, AI tools, and automation frameworks, including proof-of-concept implementations.
• Lead discussions with business collaborators to identify automation opportunities, improve processes, and support automation governance.
• Review automation code and documentation, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• High-level and advanced Python development skills.
• At least 3 years of Python development experience, or a relevant master's degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; a master's degree may also qualify.
• Experience working with multiple data sources, ERP systems, and legacy environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with R, SQL, Java, C++, C#, HTML, Selenium, Power Automate, CoPilot, or Studio for Agent Building.
• Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouses, Power BI or comparable dashboarding tools, IPA, Anaplan, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
