Senior Software Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Maintain and develop features for a high-traffic web application and support seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, testable code that improves reliability and maintainability.
• Work with Python, Flask, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Docker, htmx, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Identify optimization opportunities and contribute to system, architecture, and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and recommend solutions based on current engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python web development.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and query optimization.
• Expertise in debugging microservice architectures and experience with distributed systems.
• Experience developing high-traffic web applications or streaming sites.
• Knowledge of unit and functional testing, caching strategies, reverse engineering, and frontend development.
