Expert Developer (Python)

Location: Budapest, Pécs, Debrecen, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain business objects for mobile network infrastructure in backend systems through the API layer.
• Design data models, backend logic, and scalable APIs that provide a consistent data foundation for internal systems.
• Implement features, refine components, test solutions, and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead the team’s technical direction and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with project goals.
• Mentor junior developers, coordinate technical work, and support efficient agile development practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with agile development methodologies and practices.
• Strong backend development experience and high proficiency in Python.
• Proven expertise in API integration and design.
• Experience with data modelling, database design, system architecture, and scalability principles.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers.
• Strong written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mobile network infrastructure or telecommunications.
• Familiarity with modern development tools, version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks, quality assurance, RESTful API design, technical documentation, or knowledge management.
