IFF Procurement Lead (Insulin Manufacturing)

Company

hirify.global is developing a fully automated insulin drug substance facility in Frankfurt to support its insulin portfolio from development through delivery.

What you will do

• Serve as the procurement point of contact for the IFF project and coordinate with Global Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Project Controls, and project leadership.
• Design and lead the project procurement organization, including its structure, team size, capabilities, and governance.
• Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies and plans aligned with quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Manage suppliers, preferred supplier lists, critical-package shortlists, tenders, sourcing documentation, and trade agreements.
• Oversee contracts, legal support, scope changes, claims, supplier evaluations, invoicing issues, and post-purchase-order matters.
• Monitor procurement performance, support cash-flow planning, and represent Procurement in steering and strategic project meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• Proven professional CAPEX procurement experience in a technical industry.
• Knowledge of CAPEX, OPEX, construction, and equipment supplier markets, as well as procurement systems, processes, and procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, transversal project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent command of both German and English is required.
