Senior Vendor Manager (E-commerce)

Location: Munich, Germany. Hybrid work with 60% of the time in the office and 40% at home; working abroad for up to 20 days is possible in approved countries.

What you will do

• Manage strategic and complex vendor relationships across local champion brands, categories, and European markets.
• Identify and onboard vendors, create catalog items, negotiate contracts and terms, and resolve operational issues.
• Develop vendor marketing and promotional plans that improve margins and customer experience.
• Influence vendors to reduce costs, improve supply chain performance, lower defects, and increase operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional projects and implement scalable solutions for customer pain points.
• Monitor metrics, audit product and service quality, resolve escalations, and maintain robust process documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in category management, vendor management, or purchasing.
• Experience in retail, pet industry, or e-commerce is preferred.
• Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, influencing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience leading projects and guiding business partners with authority.
• Fluent English and German at B2 level or above.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
