Senior Front-End Developer (Shopify)

What you will do

• Own the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of Shopify themes across multiple Shopify Plus storefronts and international markets.
• Translate customer insight, commercial priorities, and design concepts into reusable front-end experiences that improve conversion and customer experience.
• Optimize storefront performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
• Partner with e-commerce, marketing, creative, and technical teams on analytics, experimentation, and CRO initiatives.
• Establish front-end engineering standards, component libraries, testing practices, documentation, and release processes.
• Manage projects from discovery and technical design through implementation, release, and post-launch monitoring.

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience delivering production front-end solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Advanced Shopify Liquid experience in Shopify Plus environments.
• Strong expertise in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including browser performance and rendering behavior.
• Experience building scalable, reusable components for complex, high-traffic e-commerce websites.
• Knowledge of Git, code review, testing practices, and modern deployment workflows.
• Strong communication, commercial awareness, technical leadership, and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify Storefront, GraphQL, REST APIs, third-party integrations, Shopify Functions, UI Extensions, and theme app extensions.
• Experience developing embedded Shopify admin apps with React Router, App Bridge, and Polaris.
• Experience with Cloudflare Workers, server-side services, automations, edge functionality, CRO platforms, analytics, feature flags, or personalization.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, visual regression testing, or end-to-end testing.
