TL;DR
Frontend Engineer (Vue): Building and scaling high-traffic trading web applications and Vue-based UI component libraries with an accent on performance, real-time browser connectivity, and exceptional user experience. Focus on designing strongly typed TypeScript libraries, parsing low-latency financial data, improving architecture and code quality, and integrating robust testing and CI/CD workflows.
Location: Hybrid, 20 Fenchurch Street, London, UK; office attendance required 4 days per week, 9am–6pm Monday–Friday

What you will do
- Design and build scalable web applications within the Vue ecosystem.
- Own high-traffic trading applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
- Improve architecture, performance, code quality, and frontend tooling.
- Build and maintain the company-wide Vue UI Component Library.
- Collaborate on large-scale projects and help set frontend technology direction.
- Develop libraries for real-time browser connectivity, low-latency data parsing, and robust error handling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience, with strong SPA experience.
- Production experience with Vue 3, Angular, or React; Vue 3 is preferred.
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience building robust libraries and components.
- Solid HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge, including responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with modern build systems, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
Nice to have
- AI-assisted development or LLM integration experience.
- Real-time data experience with WebSockets, SSE, or similar technologies.
- Experience with AG Grid, PrimeVue, Pinia, Redux, or UI design systems.
- Server-side engineering experience and interest in cross-training toward full-stack development.
