Senior Frontend Developer (React)

Location: Liverpool City Centre HQ, United Kingdom; hybrid with three days in the office each week

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, reusable frontend components with clean and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product owners in an agile squad.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, security, and user experience.
• Use Sentry, PostHog, and Grafana to monitor frontend performance and system health.
• Mentor developers and help shape frontend standards, architecture, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience building production-ready frontend applications.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and security best practices.
• Experience with Docker and Azure deployments.
• Collaborative communication skills and experience mentoring developers.
• At least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa is required for applicants relying on that visa; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• React Native experience.
• Knowledge of Redux or Zustand.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization and Web Vitals.
