What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers promoting best practices and design consistency.
- Own and evolve front-end architecture for web, mobile, and POS platforms.
- Drive improvements in front-end performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, and back-end teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Manage delivery cycles and provide technical leadership and communication to stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing frameworks, and documentation.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Exeter, United Kingdom
- 4+ years of front-end development experience with 1+ years in leadership or mentoring.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and design systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with SaaS, ticketing, or eCommerce platforms.
- Familiarity with backend integration using GraphQL.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Cypress, Vitest, or Jest.
- Understanding of mobile/responsive UI development and hybrid app frameworks.
