What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers promoting best practices and design consistency.
• Own and evolve front-end architecture for web, mobile, and POS platforms.
• Drive improvements in front-end performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, and back-end teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Manage delivery cycles and provide technical leadership and communication to stakeholders.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing frameworks, and documentation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Exeter, United Kingdom
• 4+ years of front-end development experience with 1+ years in leadership or mentoring.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and design systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS, ticketing, or eCommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with backend integration using GraphQL.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Cypress, Vitest, or Jest.
• Understanding of mobile/responsive UI development and hybrid app frameworks.
