IT Technician (Entry Level)

Location: Lakewood, New Jersey, United States; hybrid flexibility is available.

What you will do

• Provide first-level support for workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software.
• Deliver remote support through phone, chat, and email.
• Troubleshoot Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and DNS.
• Create and terminate users, install applications, and configure printers.
• Monitor remote monitoring and management alerts and respond through service tickets.
• Maintain system documentation in ConnectWise and IT Glue while communicating professionally with clients.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of systems troubleshooting and technical issue diagnosis.
• Strong communication, active listening, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, learn new software and troubleshooting tools, and meet service commitments.
• Proactive approach with the judgment to escalate support tickets appropriately.
• A+ or another relevant certification.
• Ability to work in or commute to Lakewood, New Jersey, with hybrid flexibility.
