TL;DR
IT Support Technician II (Troubleshooting/Automation/Provisioning): Providing on-site technical support and maintaining Windows and Mac systems, infrastructure, networks, VOIP, AV equipment, and regional office technology with an accent on automation, provisioning, and operational reliability. Focus on diagnosing complex incidents, developing Python and Bash scripts, managing servers and backup solutions, and supporting infrastructure upgrades and office technology rollouts.
Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. On-site five days a week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, networking, VOIP, and AV systems issues.
- Provide in-person and remote support to associates and maintain IT infrastructure and equipment.
- Manage Windows and Mac operating systems, Windows Server, backup solutions, network technologies, and equipment lifecycles.
- Create scripts and automation to improve system efficiency, service delivery, and operational processes.
- Support office relocations, infrastructure upgrades, technology rollouts, and other technical projects.
- Document procedures, coordinate with vendors and IT teams, provide status reports, and support high-severity incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Windows and Macintosh operating systems and 5+ years in technical support, IT infrastructure, networking, or AV systems.
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
- Scripting experience with Python and Bash, plus an understanding of APIs.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint, PowerShell, and Zscaler.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week in Virginia Beach, travel when required, provide on-call support, and lift or transport 40–50 pounds of IT equipment.

- Microsoft AZ-800, Cisco CCNA, Apple Certified Support Professional, or Jamf Certified Associate certification.
