Laboratories is a global pharmaceutical company producing affordable medicines and pharmaceutical ingredients. The Mirfield site manufactures complex active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and activated mPEGs in accordance with MHRA and international regulatory standards.
What you will do
- Receive, unload, organize, and prepare incoming shipments according to warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain clean, organized, and accessible warehouse storage areas.
- Conduct stock counts, reconcile inventory records, and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, load outgoing shipments, and maintain shipping documentation.
- Follow health and safety requirements, report hazards, and collaborate with colleagues to meet productivity targets.
Requirements
- Experience in warehousing or operations, preferably in a chemical, cGMP, or similarly regulated environment.
- FLT qualification and practical proficiency.
- Competent computer literacy skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory and warehouse activity records.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
Nice to have
- Experience using SAP or an equivalent warehouse system.
- Understanding of warehousing operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Dangerous goods handling experience.
- Experience with chemical risk assessments covering sampling, storage, and segregation.
