Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning

Location: Onsite in Santa Ana, California, 5 days per week; up to 15% international travel required, with a valid passport. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $142,000–$167,000 per year, with potential eligibility for additional compensation.

What you will do

• Own global demand planning for raw materials, components, and consumables across manufacturing sites.
• Translate Finance and Operations forecasts into time-phased material requirements by part, site, and planning horizon.
• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle and provide supply feasibility, constraint analysis, and recommendations for executive review.
• Model ramp-ups, new product introductions, facility launches, supplier capacity, tooling requirements, and investment costs.
• Own inventory strategy, safety stock, planning parameters, master data integrity, KPIs, risk reporting, supplier analytics, and cost analysis.
• Lead two managers and a seven-person planning and analytics organization while partnering with Operations, Product, Finance, Supplier Relations, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in materials planning, demand planning, supply planning, MRP, or supply chain analytics, including 3+ years leading teams and managers or team leads.
• Experience owning raw-material or component demand planning in a manufacturing or assembly environment, with accountability for material availability and forecast accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of MRP logic, bills of materials, consumption and yield modeling, and time-phased requirements planning.
• Hands-on ownership of S&OP or integrated business planning, including supply feasibility and constraint analysis.
• Advanced analytical and modeling skills, expert Excel or Google Sheets, working SQL, and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or supply-chain-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA, APICS CPIM, CSCP, or IBF certification.
• Experience with injection-molded, printed, or converted components, tooling lead times, and multi-cavity tool capacity.
• Experience with Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, SAP IBP, or comparable planning systems.
• Python or R for forecasting, statistical modeling, or process automation.
• Experience with rapid multi-site scale-up, new geographies, high-volume consumer products, or multi-site manufacturing.
