Senior Manager, Infrastructure Operations and Compliance

Location: Hybrid, Austin, United States. The role may require an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub. Export-controlled information may be involved, and authorization to receive controlled technology without export-license sponsorship may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the Infrastructure Operations and Security and Compliance teams, set goals, develop managers, and maintain shared SLAs and quality standards.
• Own the end-to-end decommissioning lifecycle, including physical collection, secure destruction, serial verification, compliance evidence, records closure, and ITAD vendor management.
• Oversee 24x7 incident response, hardware break-fix, circuit decommissioning, RMA management, physical collections, and operational coverage across APAC, EMEA, and NASA shifts.
• Manage physical access provisioning, deprovisioning, monthly and quarterly access reviews, ACL integrity, and compliance obligations across 750+ data center sites.
• Maintain executive relationships with GRC stakeholders and represent infrastructure compliance in audits, business reviews, and infrastructure health checks.
• Drive automation and internal tooling for access reviews, evidence collection, incident triage, documentation, root-cause analysis, and repetitive operational work.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, data center, network operations, or a related field, including at least 3 years in people management.
• Experience managing managers and multiple teams against operational SLAs, including direct responsibility for physical data center operations and hardware lifecycle management.
• Operational familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or equivalent compliance frameworks.
• Experience leading complex multi-workstream programs involving teams, vendors, and time zones.
• Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency through process redesign or automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive-level audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with 24x7 on-call operations, PagerDuty, incident escalation, circuit management, or cross-connect decommissioning.
• Experience with physical access control systems, ITAD vendors, SSO or identity federation, and third-party vendor ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Jira, NetBox or similar DCIM tools, and Confluence.
• Experience in a rapidly scaling global infrastructure environment such as a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or major CDN.
