Software Engineer, Backend

Location: Onsite in the Malaysia office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend systems and applications for merchant marketing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and applications.
• Participate in code reviews and align solutions with industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in backend software development.
• Experience with or familiarity with Golang, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git.
• Ability to work onsite at the Malaysia office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
