TL;DR
Software Developer, Data (AI) (Snowflake/dbt/TypeScript): Building product-facing data systems, pipelines, backend services, analytical APIs, and user-facing experiences with an accent on data modeling, reliability, and end-to-end feature ownership. Focus on designing maintainable data platforms, orchestrating distributed workflows, and integrating AI-powered capabilities into production software.
Location: Hybrid work with fixed in-office days; strong hubs in Ljubljana, London, and New York

What you will do
- Own product features end to end across data pipelines, backend services, frontend experiences, and production operations.
- Understand source data and design clear, maintainable, and reusable data models.
- Build and improve ingestion, transformation, orchestration, reliability, and production infrastructure.
- Develop analytical APIs, backend services, workers, and user-facing experiences that make data useful to products and users.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders, clients, and vendors to investigate problems and deliver practical technical solutions.
- Contribute to data quality, governance, observability, and AI-powered capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including ETL/ELT pipelines and layered transformation patterns.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals and experience operating production systems and backend services.
- Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD, and production observability.
- Ability to independently deliver moderately complex engineering work from problem definition through production operation.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran or other ingestion frameworks, Terraform, or TypeScript.
- Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, or orchestration systems.
- Experience designing data quality, observability, or governance systems.
- Experience with coding-agent harnesses, agentic workflows, AI agents, or systems connecting AI applications to structured company data.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js.
