R&D Project Manager (Gas Turbine Technology)

What you will do

• Lead medium- and large-scale R&D product development projects from concept through sales release and validation.
• Manage project scope, timelines, costs, quality, deliverables, and team responsibilities.
• Identify and manage risks while proactively addressing technical and organizational challenges.
• Coordinate sub-project leads and align stakeholders across cultures and time zones.
• Facilitate workshops, report progress, and support resource management and team collaboration.
• Combine agile and traditional project management methods to deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in hirify.global R&D project management or strong willingness to learn.
• Knowledge and experience with gas turbine technology.
• BSc or MSc in engineering; mechanical engineering is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, structured, solution-oriented, and flexible working style.
• Good English skills required; Swedish is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and project management software such as MSP, Planview, or Primavera.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP, IPMA, or PM@Siemens.
• Background in mechanical engineering.
• Swedish language skills.
