Global Financial Accounting – SAP ERP Senior Consultant - Financial Accounting (FI-GL) 100% (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Design and configure new legal entities and General Ledger processes in SAP.
• Configure parallel accounting for IFRS and local GAAP reporting requirements.
• Implement validations, substitutions, and authorization-related developments to support data integrity and month-end close.
• Manage integration mapping between FI and logistics modules, including MM, SD, and PP, for accurate automatic account determination.
• Lead blueprinting and realization workshops, document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and prepare RICEFW functional specifications.
• Develop test scenarios, execute UAT, collaborate with ABAP developers, and manage cutover activities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience focused on FI-GL, with FI-AA, TRM, RE-FX, and authorizations.
• Proven deployment and customization experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, record-to-report processes, and complex financial reporting.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
• Fluent English and/or German, written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, motivation, and a hands-on entrepreneurial approach.
