Commodity Buyer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Develop and execute long-term, market-based sourcing strategies for facility management, real estate, and utilities.
• Lead sourcing activities, RFP processes, negotiation plans, and contract execution for assigned commodity groups.
• Evaluate facility management equipment and systems to optimize total operating costs.
• Identify, qualify, select, and manage suppliers across quality, cost, delivery, service, and technology support.
• Drive cost reduction, supply assurance, risk mitigation, alternate sourcing, and supplier qualification initiatives.
• Report market trends, benchmarks, forecasts, costs, and KPIs while coordinating with stakeholders and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in semiconductors or electronics.
• Fluent Mandarin communication skills required.
• Ability to communicate and present to executive management and leadership.
• Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Coupa, and Conga is preferred.
