Procurement Specialist (Towers and Raw Materials)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; hybrid with less than 50% remote work

What you will do

• Manage procurement for tower and raw material categories, with a particular focus on towers.
• Source and develop potential suppliers across the Asia Pacific region in line with global category strategy.
• Execute requests for quotation, tender activities, bid comparisons, and supplier award decisions.
• Lead supplier, contract, and auction negotiations for the assigned categories.
• Implement contracts and maintain procurement master data in SAP, ARIBA, and TeamCenter.
• Evaluate and develop suppliers while coordinating with global procurement and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business-related studies; an engineering background is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience in an international environment.
• At least 2 years of international sourcing experience; experience with steel and machined components is beneficial.
• Advanced Mandarin and English are required for the bilingual working environment.
• Good negotiation skills, contractual administration knowledge, and technical comprehension.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and ARIBA; willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 30%.

Nice to have

• German or other Asian language skills.
• Engineering background and experience with steel or machined components.
