Sr. Software Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Design and build reliable distributed systems that process high data volumes with low latency.
• Scale and improve the reliability of XFI services integrating threat defence software with Microsoft and Google email platforms.
• Maintain and support business-critical production systems with a focus on scale and latency.
• Research security vulnerabilities and implement measures for handling sensitive data securely.
• Monitor production environments and use product data to guide improvements and decisions.
• Ship code to production daily using CI/CD and contribute to ambitious integration projects.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing software with Python.
• Experience designing or operating reliable distributed systems and business-critical services.
• Knowledge of cloud, database, DevOps, and software delivery practices.
• Ability to build with security, quality, service availability, and sensitive-data handling in mind.
• Ability to work from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience with other object-oriented programming languages.
