Software Engineering Specialist - Back End (AI)

What you will do

• Design and develop software solutions that streamline mobile network workflows, embed compliance, and improve service delivery.
• Make complex technical decisions covering architecture, technology selection, high-performance products, platforms, and long-term technical roadmaps.
• Build, test, review, debug, and troubleshoot robust software and scalable data engineering solutions.
• Implement engineering and operational excellence initiatives, including metrics, automation, continuous delivery, and developer productivity improvements.
• Evaluate and maintain automation tools, orchestration platforms, observability practices, and cloud-native systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, vendors, customers, and partner teams to deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#, with experience building robust software systems or applications.
• Extensive experience with software architecture, solution design, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and Apache Spark, with experience in ETL processing and scalable data engineering workflows.
• Experience with APIs, network systems, telemetry platforms, cloud technologies, version control, TDD, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, scripting, Docker, OpenStack, VMware, and observability or monitoring practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience in telecommunications or other operational environments.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development and AI-supported software practices.
