Senior Product Engineer II

What you will do

• Partner with the Engineering Manager to define the team’s technical roadmap, strategy, and architectural direction.
• Own code quality, testing, reliability, performance, and engineering standards.
• Lead technical planning, discovery, solution design, and engineering decision-making.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.
• Mentor and develop engineers at different levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading technical direction, making architectural decisions, and solving complex engineering problems.
• Deep expertise in software engineering, architecture, testing, reliability, performance, and maintainable system design.
• Ability to connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes.
• Strong communication, consensus-building, and cross-team influencing skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with Engineering Managers.
• Expertise or willingness to learn across AWS, GCP, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Django REST Framework, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, and related cloud and monitoring technologies.
