Sr Principal Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; relocation available. Remote work is available one day per week during summer months, with up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Define and own architecture for high-scale, cloud-native platforms used globally.
• Build and evolve microservices ecosystems using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Lead technically while remaining hands-on across architecture, coding, and production systems.
• Integrate practical AI and GenAI capabilities, including AWS Bedrock, into real products.
• Partner with Product Management and Customer Operations leaders to shape outcomes.
• Set engineering standards for DevOps, CI/CD, security, reliability, and technical direction.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
• Proven experience building cloud-native systems on AWS and distributed systems at scale.
• Experience integrating or scaling AI/GenAI solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technically while staying hands-on and mentoring engineers.
• Experience working with global teams and senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7 years of relevant experience are required.

• Kubernetes, Helm, and container platforms.
