Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States

OTE: $200,000–$375,000 annually; base salary: $148,974–$201,115 annually

What you will do

• Architect and rapidly prototype LLM-based, multi-agent, and agentic workflow systems for data governance and complex reasoning tasks.
• Work directly with Fortune 500 stakeholders to understand data ecosystems, governance bottlenecks, and business objectives, then translate them into technical roadmaps.
• Build and deploy BI and ML pipelines that transform cataloged data into executive-grade insights and measurable customer value.
• Define scalable solution patterns, accelerators, automation frameworks, and reusable components for Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Feed customer patterns, edge cases, and AI use cases into Product and Engineering roadmaps.
• Mentor field engineers and customer technical teams on agentic AI, data governance, and platform architecture.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant customer-facing technical leadership in roles such as FDE, Solutions Architect, or CTO-office equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, vector databases, RAG architectures, and enterprise ML model fine-tuning.
• Experience delivering large-scale BI and data pipeline solutions, with strong SQL, cloud warehousing, and predictive modeling skills.
• Architectural fluency in distributed systems, enterprise data governance, metadata management, and compliance-grade data platforms.
• Ability to write production-quality code quickly, prototype, ship, learn, and iterate.
• Executive presence and the ability to build trust with Fortune 500 CDOs and technical stakeholders.
