Manger of Technical Recruiting (AI): Building and leading ActAI's global technical recruiting function to hire AI/ML, engineering, infrastructure, web, mobile, and technical leadership talent with an accent on hiring strategy, candidate assessment, and high-impact searches. Focus on headhunting scarce technical talent, defining rigorous hiring standards, coaching recruiting teams, and improving recruiting performance across the US, Europe, and Asia.

What you will do
- Own technical hiring across AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, web, mobile, and engineering leadership.
- Develop the technical recruiting strategy, team structure, hiring priorities, and operating cadence.
- Lead critical and senior searches from market mapping and headhunting through assessment, negotiation, and closing.
- Define candidate quality standards based on technical contribution, complexity, and relevance.
- Partner with founders, engineering leaders, and company leadership on hiring profiles, interview processes, and final decisions.
- Build and coach a high-performing technical recruiting team while improving sourcing, assessment, and candidate management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of recruiting experience, including deep experience hiring software engineering, AI/ML, or other highly technical talent.
- Experience building and leading technical recruiting for a high-growth technology company while remaining hands-on with critical searches.
- Strong understanding of engineering and AI talent markets and the ability to assess highly technical profiles.
- Demonstrated success hiring senior engineers, technical leaders, and other scarce talent through proactive headhunting.
- Experience managing and improving technical recruiting teams, with strong judgement, execution speed, and accountability.
- Ability to work directly with founders and engineering leaders and translate company priorities into executable hiring plans.

- Technical recruiting leadership experience at an AI company, AI-native startup, or high-growth technology company.
- Experience recruiting AI researchers, ML engineers, applied AI engineers, and senior engineering leaders.
- Established networks across global AI and engineering communities.
- Experience building technical teams across the US, Europe, and Asia.
