Lead Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Remote, Singapore

What you will do

• Lead high-priority technical searches across AI/ML, engineering leadership, backend, infrastructure, web, and mobile.
• Build search strategies and talent maps for scarce technical talent across global AI and engineering markets.
• Source, engage, assess, and close senior and difficult-to-hire candidates.
• Partner with engineering leadership to define hiring profiles, calibrate interview standards, and identify recruiting funnel gaps.
• Coach technical recruiters on sourcing, candidate assessment, engagement, and closing.
• Develop repeatable recruiting practices that improve hiring quality and speed as the organisation scales.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, including ownership of senior and difficult engineering searches.
• Strong track record of hiring high-quality engineers through direct sourcing and headhunting.
• Deep familiarity with technical talent markets and software engineering and AI/ML profiles.
• Ability to distinguish exceptional technical work from branding, titles, or CV keywords.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leaders on hiring strategy and calibration.
• Demonstrated ability to coach recruiters and improve sourcing and assessment quality.

• Experience building or leading technical recruiting at an AI company or high-growth technology startup.
• Existing networks across AI/ML and engineering communities.
