Specialist, Procurement (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Review purchase requisitions, specifications, and scopes of work from internal stakeholders.
• Process requests for quotations and purchase change orders with accredited suppliers.
• Conduct market canvassing, collect quotations, and support supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Identify and develop suppliers, and participate in supplier evaluations, qualifications, audits, and business reviews.
• Maintain procurement system data, report KPIs, perform self-audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience in the semiconductor industry or a related manufacturing environment, preferably in technical procurement.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, cost modeling, purchasing, and contract management.
• Proficiency in procurement and purchasing systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance requirements, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
