Account Director (Digital Marketing)

Location: Toronto, hybrid

Salary: CAD 90,000–100,000 annually, based on experience, expertise, and organizational impact.

What you will do

• Manage client accounts and integrated, multi-channel projects from briefing through delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality, and profitable execution.
• Build trusted client relationships, provide strategic input, manage expectations, and monitor account performance.
• Coordinate designers, copywriters, developers, producers, and other cross-functional teams while balancing workloads and client feedback.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, contracts, resources, proposals, presentations, and new business opportunities.
• Lead and develop project teams, delegate effectively, mentor junior colleagues, and support hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Drive process improvements, manage change, resolve escalations, and maintain consistent delivery standards.

Requirements

• Experience delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Strong account, project, budget, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Commercial awareness, business development experience, and client growth experience.
• Knowledge of digital production and creative workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, with strong organisation and attention to detail.
