Senior Proposal Manager

Location: Remote in Canada; Kitchener, Ontario or Toronto, Ontario

Salary: CAD 102,500–120,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end responses to complex RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for prospective and existing customers.
• Manage pursuit planning, timelines, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, escalations, and cross-functional contributors.
• Write, edit, and refine compliant, compelling, audience-focused proposals, executive summaries, cover letters, and messaging.
• Coordinate with Sales, Solution Engineering, Services, Finance, Legal, Security, Marketing, and subject matter experts.
• Improve proposal processes, content, operational practices, and pursuit effectiveness through lessons learned and scalable approaches.
• Mentor proposal management colleagues and support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume proposal writing environment.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, business judgment, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
• Experience developing processes and content for new business areas and growth, while meeting strict deadlines.
• APMP certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Adobe applications, and proposal automation software.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Journalism.
