Solutions Consultant (SaaS)

Location: Tokyo, Japan. The role includes travel to client locations of up to 30% during peak periods.

What you will do

• Support technical pre-sales activities as a Solutions Consultant and technical storyteller.
• Apply knowledge of B2C engagement marketing, mobile marketing automation, APIs, analytics, and related technologies to customer needs.
• Communicate with customers, understand their challenges, and help shape suitable solutions.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver effective customer outcomes.
• Travel to client locations, up to 30% during peak periods.

Requirements

• Business-level Japanese and conversational English are required.
• At least two years of professional experience.
• Domain knowledge in at least two of the following areas: SaaS, mobile, APIs, marketing automation, direct marketing, marketing analytics, or programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and follow-up skills.
• Team-oriented approach and strong intellectual curiosity.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in pre-sales Solutions Consulting or Sales Engineering.
