Data Scientist (Web3)

Location: New York, United States; remote-friendly with the NYC office as the center of gravity

Salary: $218,674–$245,979 base salary annually, excluding bonus, additional grants, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful insights and trends across blockspace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and domain experts to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources.
• Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate model performance and accuracy.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, key metrics, and reports for stakeholders.
• Research blockchain, AI, and data science developments while conducting experiments to improve existing models and explore new opportunities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional data science experience.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, economics, science, or engineering.
• Experience designing, prototyping, scaling, and launching data science products that solve business problems.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, with familiarity with testing, code reviews, and deployment.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business functions and communicate insights clearly.
• Self-directed approach with ownership of solutions from the ground up.

Nice to have

• Experience with Web3 and blockchain protocols.
