Executive Oncology Sales Representative – Head & Neck (Kansas City - Oklahoma City) – Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (Oncology/Pharmaceutical Sales): Selling oncology therapeutics and expanding hospital and account relationships across an assigned field territory with an accent on clinical product knowledge, account strategy, and reimbursement support. Focus on penetrating new accounts, developing customer-specific sales plans, negotiating orders, and achieving sales objectives in head and neck oncology.

Location: Field-based territory covering Arkansas, Kansas City, Missouri, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it. Regular travel is required, including possible overnight stays and weekends.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential oncology therapeutics to approved specialties and customer accounts.
  • Explain clinical efficacy, product value propositions, and approved clinical information to customers.
  • Analyze business opportunities, prospect for new accounts, and develop territory and account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners.
  • Create pre-call and post-call plans with objectives, discovery questions, and approved materials.
  • Use marketing resources and closing techniques to advance opportunities, appointments, in-services, and patient identification.
  • Discuss access and reimbursement options compliantly, negotiate sales, close orders, and achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Residence in the assigned geography or willingness to relocate to it.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, product knowledge, strategic sales planning, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Specialty sales experience and knowledge of solid tumor and oncology markets.
  • Hospital and large-account sales experience.
  • Experience handling complex reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D.
  • Documented success in competitive sales environments.
  • Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI.
