Industrial Electrician (Olathe)

Location: Olathe, Kansas, USA; extensive nationwide travel required

What you will do

• Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, disconnects, transformers, switches, and motor control components.
• Install and test medium- and high-voltage automation and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical layouts, control wiring, PLC sensors, and system functionality during installations.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and electrical testing equipment.
• Support field construction activities, including insulation, welding, and painting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Experience bending and installing rigid conduit up to 4 inches.
• Knowledge of three-phase motor systems, 480V AC motor control circuits, and the National Electrical Code.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied weather and industrial conditions while using appropriate PPE.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and regular drug tests, background and driving record checks, with no DUI in the past 5 years.

Nice to have

• Journeyman license.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills.
